No sooner have we packed away the Christmas decorations than we're packing our summer clothes ( hoping that the mince pies haven' t made too much difference to our waistlines) and come Friday morning we'll be heading off to Cebu in the Philippines.
'We' being a team of ten females aged from 10 to - well, let's just say some of us are grandmothers. What we have in common is a longing to see the orphans, under privileged and street children of Talisay set free from the poverty, degradation and spiral of misery in which they have spent their young lives. Working with Mercy in action and their Philippines based team we will be spending 12 days getting to know these beautiful children and through a combination of craft, song, play and lots of prayer, our prayer is to see lives set free.
Please follow our blog, which we will endeavour to write on a daily basis, send us messages of encouragement and pray along with us for a miracle.
